A Skilled DJ with Years of Experience

DJ Jim has been performing in the Montana area since 1998. He started entertaining in Great Falls at the local bar and club scene, and quickly became one of the most popular and sought after entertainers in the area.

He played music from Wednesday through Saturday nights at such places as the Club Cigar, The Hi-Ho Tavern, the J-Bar-T, Murph's Night Club, the Halftime Sportsbar, and the Sting. When Club Bighouse opened it's doors (as the first official Night Club in the area in years), he became the head DJ, and remained there for 4 years while it maintained it's popularity as the hottest place to party in Great Falls.

While working for the City's night scene, he also gained huge popularity as a Wedding DJ, performing at 25 - 30 events every year.

As far as music goes, DJ Jim has an extensive library to draw from, and is familiar with virtually all genres of music, from Big Band and Swing, to Country and Rock 'n Roll, from Oldies to Hip Hop, and much, much more. He has done all Country events, all R&B shows, and even all Latin receptions, but most of the time there is a really good mix of music catering to as many guests as possible.

Jim is also very good at working with other event professionals, and helps to keep the event flowing smoothly from start to finish.

If you're looking for a professional DJ who can bring your event together seamlessly, who caters each one to the wants and need of the customer, who maintains a positive attitude throughout, and who can keep the guests dancing and having a great time, then you should contact DJ Jim. You will not be disappointed. Check out the testimonials page to read just a few of the comments from past events, and feel free to call or send over an email at any time with questions. Outdoor Wedding Posted by Picasa

This past Saturday was yet another success. I had a full day, and it was a scorcher. I set up for the actual Wedding Ceremony at the Milwaukee Station at about 2:00 in the afternoon, right during peak hours for heat (it was up in the 90's), but luckily I tucked my equipment just underneath a tent. I still had the pleasure of sitting in the sun, but the electronics were at least shaded. The ceremony went smoothly, and I provided the sound for a quartet that played beautifully, a guitar, two singers, and of course the officiant. After the ceremony, I packed up my things and moved them over to the reception location, which was at the Bride's mother's house, where we could walk right onto the Country Club's golf course from her back yard. It was an outdoor reception, and was layed out in such a stunning way. There were tents and lanterns over all of the tables, a dance floor set up on the lawn, and an amazing array of food. The cake was gorgeous, as well. There were somewhere between 150 and 185 guests, and after the first dances and garter/bouquet tosses, they really jumped into the entertainment. Most of them enjoyed dancing, and we even heard some more singing from a family member and from a family friend. They were both excellent. All in all, the reception was a raging success, and it was difficult to shut down just after midnight, as they wanted to keep going. I was amazed that the police weren't called in with all of the noise. It was nice to see everything wrap up to positive comments from everyone around me. Beautiful family and jovial friends. Definitely a pleasure to put in the extra hours.
